The most performed opera during the 20th century continues to draw tears and smiles in the 21st. The story of the four bohemians who live on the brink of misery, suffering and enjoying for love, is an enduring classic. The poet Rodolfo, the painter Marcello, the musician Schaunard and the philosopher Colline will once again confront the vagaries of the modest seamstress Mimi and the scandalous singer Musetta. An ode to youth with a final bitter nod to its inevitable transience.
